John and Kinnari's work culminated with their design Store in New York but they continued to use their skills in design and photography on various other projects.

Their first project together was for the Mira Nair's film, Mississippi Masala. Kinnari did the costume design for the Indian crew while John was the still photographer. Kinnari and John played a similar role for Kinnari's son, Apoorva's directorial debut, Mumbai se aaya mera dost.

While running the Kinnu store, they participated in the Hot House exhibition in Cranbrook and one of their pieces was made part of the permanent collection at the Reading Public Museum in West Reading, Pennsylvania.

Recently in 2018 Kinnari designed and made small scaled looms to teach differently abled children at the Gateway School of Mumbai.

Currently, Kinnari is in the process of renovating six heritage homes in Jethabhai ni pol in Ahmedabad that John had started purchasing in order to save them more then two decades ago.
